Darnetta is a Dallas transplant and has lived here for nearly 20 years. She is from a military family and did a lot of traveling in her childhood. Darnetta has 2 brothers and a sister. And attributes her love for traveling to the amazing experiences she had as a child growing up in countries all over the world. Those experiences taught her a lot about adaptability and the importance of family.
After 18 years in retail leadership and training, Darnetta transitioned into non-profit work and has spent the last 6 years as an Admissions Director. New to St. Philips School and Community Center, she works with an array of different families and genuinely enjoys spending her days helping parents make important educational decisions for their children. Her career shift was born out of her desire to be living a more purposeful life and she sees how God opened many doors to allow for that to happen.
