What is Gladney University?

Gladney University is Gladney Center for Adoption's training and development initiative. It provides comprehensive educational resources, professional development, and support programs tailored to adoptive families, adoptees, birth families, adoption professionals, and Gladney staff. Through both in-person and online courses, Gladney University covers topics ranging from safe sleep practices and emergency preparedness to adoption support and cultural competency.

Who can participate in Gladney University courses?

Gladney University offers courses for a wide audience, including Gladney staff, adoptive families, foster parents, social workers, and community members interested in adoption and child welfare. While some courses are specific to Gladney employees and clients, many are open to adoptive and foster community to ensure they have the resources and knowledge needed to support children in their care.

How can I access Gladney University courses?

Gladney University courses are accessible through the Gladney Learning Management System (LMS) and can also be offered in-person depending on the course. To enroll, participants need to log into the LMS platform or contact the Gladney Learning & Development team for assistance with registration and access.
